Welcome to The Singing Lobster!
Need a unique birthday gift? We provide singing telegrams for special occasions, gatherings, and corporate events throughout Southern Maine and the Seacoast New Hampshire area. Whether the occasion is a birthday or anniversary, a get-well wish, a thank-you, a wedding, or just to let someone know you care, we can make the recipient feel all buttered up!
Each singing telegram is tailored for the individual recipient.
When you call to schedule a telegram, we'll ask questions about hobbies, pets, favorite places, favorite foods (besides lobster), and incorporate the information into the performance, along with a couple of lobster jokes, and of course, the song. Recipients will remember a Singing Lobster event for a long time to come. Be sure to bring a camera!

"My whole family appreciated your appearance at my wife’s birthday party. She is still talking about it and telling everyone she knows about her telegram. It made her birthday very, very memorable for her and for all of us."
—Ed Maxwell, York, Maine
Each singing telegram is delivered for a cost of $75. Travel charges may apply. Balloons, flowers, or candy can be included for an extra charge. All telegram recipients receive lots of attention and a special-occasion song sung by a human in our lobster or moose costume, or our fabulous Tango Dancer (fully clothed throughout the performance). Tips are always welcome!
